We provide lunch on Saturday and Sunday as well as refreshments through out the weekend. All you need to bring is your sewing machine and notions. We have cutting table, ironing stations and no need for extension cords – plugs conveniently located on the work tables. Cost of weekend is €150 pp sharing, includes B&B for Friday and Saturday evening. This is a great getaway weekend, grab a few friends and escape.
Mairead's gorgeous quilt. Our quilt will be a variation on this! |
A fun filled weekend of sewing. We will be using a Jelly Roll to create a fun quilt using a 12 1/2" square ruler! The quilt will be finished by Sunday afternoon or earlier! We held this weekend class in May and all the women left with borders sewn on and there was still time to chat and have a good time! This is an opportunity to use a jelly roll. The class room will be available on Friday night for those staying with us and your cutting instructions will be available if you want to get a head start. As always our quilt weekends are priced as residential workshops, you receive two nights B&B and the workshop for €150 per person. If you would like to participate in the weekend as a day student you are more than welcome, the price for the two days is €80. Kits are available for purchase in a variety of colour ways for the project. You receive 10% off your purchases made over the weekend. Requirements list available at signup,

About Us:
Kilbora Quilt Shoppe is conveniently located in North Wexford, just outside the historic village of Ferns. I have been running a Bed & Breakfast for the past nine years and have recently combined the hospitality business with my Quilt Shop and the results have been more enjoyable than I ever dreamed it would be.
Our home is Failte Ireland approved and has 4 ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor. All of the rooms have a colour tv (but that won't matter because you will be sewing!!), clock radio, hairdryer and hospitality tray with electric kettle. In a separate building is our patchwork shop and classroom space with plenty of room to spread out. A cutting area, pressing station and kitchenette. And best of all you have me as your hired wife for the weekend! No dishes to clean; no meals to prepare; just you and your pals sewing and having a good time all weekend.
Use the facilities to do your own thing or if you would like me to entertain you with a custom designed class, the choice is yours.
